Dear friends

I have done frequency response with displacement and force as load type but unable to do with acceleration as load type.

Its giving this error

*** ERROR # 186 ***

An SPCD component must be constrained by an SPC or SPC1 data.

Please respond to this with some example

Thanks and regards

Anshul

Please add another constrain as a extra load collector at the node where you were give the spc constrains.

    Steps:

#1 - Goto analysis select constrains tab

#2 - Select the same node where you given the spc constrains

#3 - Change the type as SPCD in the type option in the same TAB

    #4 - Then click create

#5 - Then Follow your regular procedure to do resonance simulation

    Regards

    Hi Arun,

For example I define a SPCD (For Acceleration) a one node and Icreate anather constrain as a SPC on the same point with SPCD. So I never get an error message yes...

But I have a question about SPC's DOF.

So think that; I define a SPCD in x axis. Which axis shoul I create a SPC? Also x axis too or every 6 Dof?

    Thanks in advance.

    Iskender

    Hi iondergumus,

I just need x axis SPC when you have SPCD in x axis but I think there is no difference between 6 dof SPC and x axis SPC cases.

    Hi anshul,

Check that your RLOAD card is in ACCE (becareful the defaut value is FORCE). Your error come from the fact that every SPCD nodes must be SPC in the same excitation axis.

    Regards.

    Hi Samuel,

But the x axis SPC's and the 6 dof SPC's answers are different. And there is much more differences some model. (About 200 - 300 Mpa)

Could you please explain that clearly?
