Frequency Response using Acceleration as load type

I had done and checked the frequency reponse analysis based on the displacement and the load, but I am not able to go with the acceleration as load type for response analysis. Please provide me with some example to know how to calculate following freqency response analysis using acceleration as load type,

1. Direct/Modal frequency reponse

2. Random frequency response

you must be cautious that when you apply an acceleration load on the structure ,the corresponding dofs at the nodes should be released;Or the acceleration load cann't be applied.The other settings are as the same as frequency response analysis under force load
