    Hi felipeds

Check if there is any initial penetration in your model. Use Tool>> Penetration to check for penetrations and intersections.

If there is no penetrations or the penetrations is no resolved, you can change Iacti= 6 in TYPE 7 interface card. Please let us know if this helped.

The way you gave me to solve the problem resolved. But I changed the card to Inact = 2, (deactivation of stiffness on elements) because the tool penetration indicated that the component elements were who were suffering penetration.

    Thanks

Additionally, I wanted to take advantage and ask you for help on this error that I had not realized:

    Hi Praksh

I have the same problem. When  I use penetration tool to check it said that Unspecified thickness of my components. They are shell. I also use type 7 and Inacti = 6. Could you please tell me how to deal with this problem!

    Thanks

    Hi,

Ensure that properties created are assigned to the components and fix the penetrations in the model.

    Thank you George

The properties created are assigned to the components, but I do not know how to fix the penetration in the model. Could you please suggest me some documents about that.

    Thank you

    Hi,

Please go through this post which describes about collision detection tool:

Also, go through a tutorial on penetration fix from the Help Menu, HM-3320: Penetration which explains every step.
