How to plot force/displacement or force/stress graph in HyperGraph?

Hello,

I am simulating a three point bend test on a composite sample. Can someone instruct me to how I can plot a force/displacement graph and force/stress graph? At the moment I cant find force as a component to plot when I attempt to use build plots from HyperGraph.

Extra: Is it possible for me to simulate a range of forces to be applied on the sample at once, such as parameter sweep?

Many thanks

    Hi,

You need to request for the force output to see it in the HG result types menu, iin Optistruct you can result for the forces using the SPCforce, The SPCFORCE command can be used in the I/O Options or Subcase Information sections to request single-point force of constraint vector output for all subcases or individual subcases respectively. or the gpforce, - The GPFORCE command can be used in the I/O Options or Subcase Information sections to request grid point force balance output for all subcases or individual subcases respectively

I have attempted to request both GPFORCE and SPCFORCE however both do not allow me to see the forces I applied earlier in HyperMesh in order to plot a graph in HyperGraph.

You can use the OLOAD card, see OLOAD in help,

The OLOAD command can be used in the I/O Options or Subcase Information sections to request the form of applied load vector output for all subcases or individual subcases respectively.
