Hey guys. I've got this error and I'm not sure how to fix it. Trying to optmize a rear suspension here.

It says:

for material id= 1 refereced from property id= 1. Either E or G must be explicitly provided for MAT1. Otherwise singular material is produced.

I have the same error for material 2. I'm new to Hyperworks so I'm not really sure how to fix this. I did assign an E values to both materials (aluminum 6061 and alloy steel) and then created two properties and assigned them to the following materials I had created.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Probably you missed to assign the properties to the components (or elements). You can easily check this using the 'Component View' in the Model Browser.

I did check though. The components are in the same colour as the property colour.

Check your material and property cards, there are some missing values in there.

Got the same error! I've also checked the values of E, G, NU, RHO under the material. I don't think any of the values are missing!
