Is Solid Thinking compatible with SolidWorks' documents (.SLDPRT)?

Hi!

I am writing this post to ask about Solid Thinking compatibility with SolidWorks generated documents (.SLDPRT archives).

    You can save out your SW-files in ST format via plug-in but you

    will not get any features or such.

    I would say its rather ment to go the other way.

    Starting from version 8.0 there is also another option.

    Just do File->Open and in the list of formats you will find 'sT-Adv'.

    This option will lwt you open the following native formats :

    Catia, SolidWorks, Pro/E, NX, Acis, JtOpen and I-DEAS.
