How to plot stress-strain curve in Hypergraph

Hi,

I want to plot the stress-strain/ force-displacement curve along a section cut for uniaxial compression analysis using Hyperview/Hypergraph. I am using Hypermesh/RADIOSS to perform the analysis. Please let me know in detail how it needs to be done.

Hi Sai,

You can output Stress and strain using output blocks.

Go to Analaysis page>> Output Block>> elements. Card edit the created output block and change the keyword accordingly (BRIC for solid elemnts, SHEL for shell elements, etc..)

Select the variables and please go through /TH for more information about variables.

All the requested information will be written to T01 file.

The other way is plot stress and plastic strain from HyperView.

Output Stress and strain through control cards and contour stress. Go to Plot curves and plot Stress Vs time.

Similarly do the same for strain in the same existing window and do a cross plot in HyperGraph.

i have been doing the same as you told in first step. But where to find table T01 file.
its not in analysis folder.
please help

Hi Ashu,

The time history,T01 file will be in the same analysis folder. Ensure output block has been created and also ensure that /TFILE keyword is provided in the engine file with the frequency value for writing the time history provided.
