I am doing with a nonlinear implicit problem in optistruct.

I have created contact surface and load steps (followed 'os-1500' for nonlinear implicit problem set up, apart from that created contact surface)

But while running its showing some errors

    I found the cause of the problem: because the model has contact, but I'm not using card PcontX, so the error always occurs.
    Workaround: open the card PcontX.
    And if your contact has the initial penetration, you need to change the INACTI parameter.

    Try with PCNTX7 in OptiStruct which is same as Type7 contact in RADIOSS.

    Ram,

     

    When you are in PCONT card, scroll down to PCONTX and change type to PCONTX7
