how to give a UNIFORM DISTRIBUTED LOAD

Hi everyone, i have this doubt on how to define a  uniform distributed load?.....

What all did i try to sort this problem/  alternative solutions tried?.......

alternative tried 1 = wen i go for Force tab am able to give force only for points, nodes or components,,,,...so i just divide my load by number of nodes and give it to the individual nodes which is a time consuming process......am not able to give it as a constant force through out the surface in a single go

alternative tried 2=else i convert the force to a pressure by manually calculating the area (P=F/A) and i define it to that surface which is still more time consuming process,,.....

alternative tried 3= i create a rigid element by holding on to the nodes which are all having the Uniform Distributed Load and define a load to the center node.....but i have a doubt that wen the nodes selected are in a irregular lamina then the main node is not formed in the center but offsetted some where else so at this point does the uniform distributed load is acting perfectly or else it causes some additional moments are forces on the spots in the far away spots.....

and what should be the card image used
