Hi folks !
the display shortcut key ' d ' not displaying the components when I hit it , rest all other keys ' O, F, B' etc. I've to work from the Model tree which is very painful. Please help me for functioning of the
key ' d '.
go to preferences--> keyboard settings--> paste this hm_togglevirtualcollector {showhide} in the command for the key D and click on apply.

the default for 'd' is 'hm_calldisplaypanel'.
Try to reset your keyboard settings at Preferences->Keyboard Settings->Settings->Mapping Defaults...
I don't understand your problem or what you want to map to 'd'
