Pressure not uniform

Hi Guys,

I am a ph.d student of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Florence and am doing HyperMesh analysis on a pump.

I've to set a pressure proportional to the radius of the impeller.

Do you know how can I set a not uniform pressures' field?

Try:

BCs-->Create-->Pressures click the arrow (pull down menu) next to 'magnitude' and select 'equation'. Select your elements (where the pressure field will be applied) and the orientation axis.

Alternative: Create a tab seperated .txt file of the form: X Y Z (pressure value) where X, Y, Z are coordinates, select your elements and instead of 'equation' select 'linear interpolation'. Select your .txt file and click create
