I am doing fuel sloshing analysis in composite sandwich tank using ALE method in Radioss block. Composite is modeled with P11_SH_SANDW property and M25 materiel model. Fuel and Air is modeled with P14 and M37 material model. Analysis is stopping with an error ' 2D QUAD not compatible with N2D3D=0 '. I am not sure whether is element compatibility error or any other issues. Please could you someone indicate the solution to rectify this problem.

    Hi,

Can you please update the elements to SHELL4N and SHELL3N?

Go to 2D panel-->Elemtypes-->select all 2D elements. Make sure Tria3 is refering to SHELL3N and quad4 to SHELL4N and click update.

Please let us know if you still get the same error after doing an update on elements.

I am performing a drop test using radioss and I am getting an error '2D Quad Element not compatible with N2D3D=0 '. I have checked the element types in 2D panel and they are SHELL3N for tria elements and SHELL4N for quad elements. Please look into the issue. Thank You.

    Hi Tarun,

    Have you updated the elements?

Update the elements and check again. If you still have the problem, please share the model.
