Constraint/boundary condition

A simple question!  How does one change/modify one or a few of constraints applied on a model.  This can be easily done in all FE software I have used (five of them), yet, I cannot figure out how to do it in Hypermesh).

When I used the 'update' route, I noticed both the old BCs and revised ones appearing in the solver deck.

Help!

    Hi

Perhaps your manipulation was wrong somewhere.

In panel analysis>constraints>update, click to select constraints, modify parameters (dofs, load types,...) then click 'update' > confirm what you want to update > click 'update'

    Dear Tinh:

Thank you very much.  Perhaps I should have made my question a bit more precise.  What I was wanting to know is that after removing the boundary condition, how can one get rid of the triangle that s connected to the removed boundary condition.  The procedure you outlined (which I knew about it), gets rid of the BC, by removing the DOF number associated to the selected node, but not the triangle.

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi

If you want to remove bcs, enter panel delete (press F2), change entity type to 'loads' pick bcs then 'delete'
