    The stresses i got is very high what can be the reason for the same ?I for checked material property and dimension.

    Hi,

    High stresses can be of various reasons. Material can be one. Please check the parameters. For any simulation material parameters play a major role.Any unclear or illogical data provided during material characterization will lead to uncertain results. Another possibility is the loads and BCs applied. Please recheck the whole model set up.

    How to apply a load on surface without concerning about number of nodes and elements ? i.e. applying /cload on surface.

    Hi,

    The concentrated loads can only be applied to the nodal group. But you can define pressure load on a surface.
