Resource
Hello,
I don't know if this forum the right place to write this. I could not find any comprehensive resource on topology optimization on the web. You can find all the theory you want or research articles etc. but real world applications are scarce you have to search very hard to find them.
You know the classic cantilever beam optimization, however how many has seen it applied to something real?
Altair has nice articles, but due to the nature of being a company, the articles have different content than what I seek.
So I decided to curate a blog. It is largely made of real world applications and to a lesses extent other things.
As people in this forum are probably optimizing real world products with Optistruct, I believe some will want to share thier applications with the world (or research). If so you can contact me from the blog. I believe sharing information makes the world a better place.

Hi Newbie,
I respect your initiation.
But, because many of the hypermesh users are working directly for a company (client), I doint think most of them are ready to share things here.
A good way is to go to 'help' in Hypermesh and you have ample examples showing you how to work with optistruct. There are some really good examples like automotive control arm optimisation which are really good at letting you understand how to work with optistruct. Once you know why a set of forces are applied the way they are applied, it should not be much difficult from there.
Hope this is helpful. Wish you the best.
Regards,
