    HI Rahul,

In RADIOSS it is not possible to visualize the plies as can be seen in OptiStruct.

There are few failure models available (/FAIL) for composite. Please refer to those models.

    Hi Rahul,

You can output Strain energy using Control cards>>ENG_ANIM_ELEM>> EPSP.

    Rahul,

Create a property with type as FAIL/PUCK.

I will get back to you with Strain energy soon.

ok but in addition i have to define plies using  Material: M25_COMPSH and Property: P11_SH_SANW.

so my question is how can i use both the properties-- P11_SH_SANDW and FAIL/PUCK for same component

can you check the Tau Max value?

Normal value of Tau Max is 10 times higher than the actual times step should be set in the card directly.

that's okay. but i am struggling to introduce FAIL/PUCK property. I am not able to assign it to component 'XYZ'. i hve already defined comp. 'XYZ' using  Material: M25_COMPSH and Property: P11_SH_SANW.

    Rahul,

you dont need to assign to any component. Refer the M25 material in the fail/puck property

You can get the output in animation file with /ANIM/ELEM/EPSP

For Law25 this output is plastic strain energy. It is equal to zero when the material is elastic

Sorry here EPSP gives the plastic work.
