ERROR#176

Hi,

 

I am getting below error while solving static analysis in optistruct. does any one know how to solve it

 

*** ERROR # 176 ***
 A dependent d.o.f. of rigid elements is constrained in an SPC set.
        grid id = 473747
      component = 1
     SPC set id = 7

Hi Suraj,

 

Looks like you have applied SPC on RBE3. SPC to an RBE3 is not compatible.

 

Replace RBE3 with RBE2 rigid elements and run the analysis.
