    Hi,

What type of data do you have for the material?

What type of analysis are you trying to perform?

    Hi @Stefanie Carvalho

EIGC: Defines data required to perform complex eigenvalue analysis.

EIGRA: Defines the data required to perform real eigenvalue analysis with the Automated Multi-Level Sub-structuring technique.

    Thanks!

One more question: when I import the geometry from solidworks do I have to create a solid of it before meshing it or I can simply mesh on the geometry?

    Hi @Stefanie Carvalho

If your model is a sheet metal or a platic component, please extract mid surface and start meshig with 2D elements. Otherwise you can mesh with 3D elements.
