I WANT TO KNOW THAT WHICH CARD IMAGE IN MATERIAL SECTION IS USED FOR ABS MATERIAL.
Hi,
What type of data do you have for the material?
What type of analysis are you trying to perform?
I WANT TO DO A WEIGHT REDUCTION IN HYPER MESH OPTISTRUCT.
I HAVE E, NU, AND RHO FOR ABS MATERIAL. WHICH CARD IMAGE IS USED IN MATERIAL PORTION
I have the same question, did you resolve?
HI,
Since you have only E, NU and RHO use MAT1 card
I would like to know the meaning of the abbreviations that appeard on the load colector card image. For instance there is : EIGC, EIGRA and so on.
There is a pdf describing all this abbreviations ?
Hi @Stefanie Carvalho
EIGC: Defines data required to perform complex eigenvalue analysis.
EIGRA: Defines the data required to perform real eigenvalue analysis with the Automated Multi-Level Sub-structuring technique.
Thanks!
One more question: when I import the geometry from solidworks do I have to create a solid of it before meshing it or I can simply mesh on the geometry?
If your model is a sheet metal or a platic component, please extract mid surface and start meshig with 2D elements. Otherwise you can mesh with 3D elements.
Hi all,
anybody knows where to get information for all cards?
regards
