hi....

i am finding difficulty in co-relating the results between optistruct and hand calculations.......help me how should i co-relate the results between hand-calculations and optistruct ...........what range i should consider for stresses.

    for stress results, you should try with some different element sizes, and then you can decide that your element sizes are ok. the results must be close to each other. for hand calculations, that depends on your assumptions. can you explain your hand calculation? what for especially?
