Hello,

I am using HYPERMESH 12 and working on foam core sandwich composite. Core is a non linear material where as skin is carbon/epoxy composite.

While solving my model in OPTISTRUCT i get this error msg

 NOTE # 9199

MSGLMT=STRICT is active, all messages will be printed.

You can suppress some less important warning messages by use of

MSGLMT=BRIEF or UNREF (in config file or in the input data).

 *** INTERNAL PROGRAMMING ERROR ***

   in file 'contslv_AN.F', at location # 200.

****  ABORTING RUN DUE TO AN INTERNAL ERROR  ****

Is there any connection of this error with below mentioned points-

a) When I switch on my 'traditional and 3D element representation' and 'Composite layer' i get a message at the status bar i.e. 'not able to create normal of element'. While creating the ply it didn't say that but now it is giving this error when i am switich on my plies.

image/emoticons/default_cool.png' alt='B)'> Is it compulsory to maintain mesh connectivity? I had to compromise it at few curvature areas where i couldnot maintain mappability.

I can connect through Web ex if you want to see the model.

Thank you
