I am trying to create a solid hexa mesh from a given surface mesh. I am using 3D>solid>general. However I get the error

'2 terminal meshes dont have the sane node count'.

It is extremely hard to have the same number of meshes (nodes) for the source and dest in most of the cases, is there any way to solve this?

for complex structures you could try 2d > shrink wrap

select solid hexa mesh also and give a small value for the jacobian and element size

the result maybe sometimes not so good but with some alignment etc. you could get a good result
