    Hi,

    Do you have any contacts in your model?

    Can you share the model file using the file transfer link in my signature below?

    Also, if you are using number of cores for SMP using -nt, try to reduce the CPUs and try again.

    yes there are contacts in the model both FREEZE and FRICTION

    I may not be able to share the model due to confidentiality.

    Hi @md.ataul

    I may not be able to share the model due to confidentiality.

    Are you running the model on multiple CPUs?

    If yes, can you exclude '-nt' command and try again?

    Hi Prakash

    No I'm not using multiple CPUs. Its a Workstation.

    let m know what can I possibly do to correct this error.

    Attached is the information about the Loadsteps, PARAM cards, NLPARAM.

    Regards,

    Mustafa

    As a workaround you can try solving with BCS solver
    if you would have used  MUMPS via the solvtyp card.

    Alternatively if this fails, you could try the following debug parameters
    -debug,pardiso,1 -debug,prdmumps,1
    to see if you can get a succesfull run.

    Do let us know if it works.

    Hi

    getting an error while using BCS solver even though HASHASSM is not checked in my model.

    Kindly let me know how to use the above mentioned debug parameters.

    I have already run this kind of analysis previously on the same system. I don't know why this is happening now.

    Hi Atul,

    The error is due to a bug which was already reported and fixed in HyperWorks 2017.1.

    @Prakash Pagadala

    Thanks for the reply.

    But I have another model with the same parameters and it is running perfectly fine.

    I will also send this model to you through your File transfer link. Kindly go through this file also and let me know why one model is running and other one not.

    Please don't confuse with other errors I reported here, those were due to the intermediate solutions I got in this conversation.

    My concern is for the error attached in this reply.<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>58b81a5cd7f09_internalprogrammingerror.thumb.JPG.3016185f4e9791ec4517a58dc4df3664.JPG

    Hi @md.ataul

    The programming error could be because of several reasons. it could be because of node count, contact, output requested, matrix, etc...

    So it is not fair to compare two similar configurations with different entity counts.

    I am debugging your previous old model. Somehow HASHASSM is tryting to fetch a header file which is not responding. removing this may work. I am working on it and will let you know soon if there is any success in 14.0

    @md.ataul

    Removing all control cards is working on 14.0.

    I think the problem is with the HASMASM and the 32bit solver cards.

    @Prakash Pagadala

    That's correct, even I'm able to run the file by omitting some parameters.

    Attached are the PARAM's used now, But I'm not sure how these two cards (CONTFEL=YES, I64SLV=YES) are going to help in convergence.

    My runs are going on, but taking more time(almost 4days now). Hope to get a converged result

    @md.ataul

    Let us know if there is any problem with convergence.
