OptiStruct Solver in student version

Hi,

 

I can't find the OptiStruct Solver Programm in my HyperWorks Student Version 11.0

Isn't it included in this version? Or went anything wrong during the istallation?

    Hello,

    I assume you installed the Student Edition 11.0 already on your PC.

    Can you start the application 'HyperWorks' from within your Start Menu? This will then open up the graphical user interface (GUI)  of HyperWorks Desktop (used for modeling and visualization). There is no GUI to the solver 'OptiStruct' i.e. once your model set-up is complete you can start the solver from the menu analysis-OptiStruct ...

     

    Have you used HyperWorks before?
