Hello.

Everytime I atempt to use the 'clean up' function for the interior angle on tetra elements Simlab ends up crashing. The clean up works fine when used on 2D-tri elements but crashes when used on tetra elements. Why does this happen?

Kind regards

Sanin

    Hi,

Which option of cleanup you are using?automatic or manual.

Could you take screenshot of parameters set for cleanup?

If model is simple please share us through file transfer.

    Regards

    Hi,

Basically I go under mesh and then quality check.  I then press compute to see how many elements fail the given criterias. I then use the 'clean up' operation in quality check on each criteria that has elements that failed. This works for each criteria except for interior angle for tetra elements. If the cleanup is atempted, the window 'This program has stoped working' appears and SimLab crashes.

I used 13 degrees as minimum angle and 140 for maximum.

I cannot screenshot the particular detail I have been meshing but it is not a simple geometry. I could try to reproduce the scenario on a different detail if you still think that a screenshot would be usefull.

    Kind regards

    Sanin
