Passing Through Problem

Hello There

I was using Hypermesh and Radioss to simulate a Crash Analysis of a Car. But before running the model i replaced some parts with new ones updated general contact, gravity force and initial speed for new parts, defined material and properties for new parts. But as a result of analysis everything was working fine except a bracket which is tied to other parts with rigids.

it is passing through other parts instead of crashing them.

What can be the reason of this ?

    i always have this issue when using type 7 contact. what I do is other than type 7 global contact 'self impact. I create a type 11 edge-edge between a the parts that has contact issues..this usually solves the problem for me.

    also in theory manuals it says with type 7 and type 11 could be used in such situations. it is a good idea.
