Realize laminate

Hello,

when I realize my laminate it creates propertys with a PCOMPG Card Image.

What can I do when I want the laminates in PCOMPP?

And why it is better to use PCOMPP?

    Hi Macel,

     

    Realizing laminate converts a ply based stack to zone based model.

     

    are you using a student edition of HyperWorks?

     

    In full suite of HyperMesh you have an option to convert PCOMP/PCOMP(G) to PCOMPP in Aerospace OptiStruct profile.

     

    Please refer to the below Tip and Trick for more details.

    Hi Prakash,

    yes I am using the student edition,but I have a license for the full suit.

    Can I download the full version and put my license in.

    Or will there some problems,because I used the license befor ?

    Hi Prakash,

    Is it possible to realize the laminate the other way?

    I have PCOMPP card and I want to change it to PCOMPG?

    I tried using the same procedure but it does not work.

    I am using Hypermesh v13.0.110.31

    Hi Sanketh,

     

    Right click on Laminate and select Realize.
