Please provide me some help on fatigue analysis.

How to create Load-Time History Definition for fatigue analysis?

What is meaning of load in load-time history definition? We have some load on component before we start the fatigue process.

Is this scale factor of load?

Hi Bhautik,

 

You can create a load-time history table via TABFAT (TABLEFAT) card in HyperMesh. This is available as a load collector in HyperMesh. What do you mean be some load on component? it would be a purely static consideration and fatigue deals with fluctuating loads.

load on component mean what ever load we apply on component.

 

as example.

I apply 1000 mmhg pressure on component and i want to know that this component withstande 40 million cycles of load or not.

how can i calculate load time hystory table(for one cycle) for this condition?

frequency should be 1.2 hz.

 

is this right for one cycle?

If you need with a time frequency of 1.2Hz then your time should be N+1.2

The load time history values are from tests in service environment or representation of load on components in terms of both sequence and amplitude.
