ERROR # 2205

Hello,

I have some problems to start my analysis.

*** ERROR # 2205 ***
Error(s) encountered during element check
***** Element Quality Check Failed - collapsed nodes encountered *****

*** PROGRAM STOPPED: ERRORS DURING ELEMENT QUALITY CHECK.

I got the hint to run a command file to find the elements which failed, but I don´t have a command file .

Then there would be the option to set CHECKEL to NO.

Can anybody tell me where I can find this.

Hi Marcel,

If you are not bothered about the element quality you can stop checking element quality using Control cards>> PARAM>> CHECKEL>> NO

Hi Prakash, I have been through the same error Marcel experienced. I have given CHECKEL>NO. But stiff it did not fix the problem. Is there any way to find the track the collapsed nodes? I am trying to solve a very basic modal analysis.

If your model is tetra, try checking by panel F10>3D>tet collapse, any value <0.05 should be verified
