Hey guys,
I was just wondering what units Hypermesh uses for force? Is it Newtons?
Also, does anyone know the meaning of the Uniform Size? It has that option for constraints as well...
Thanks!

For all about FEA units: http://idac.co.uk/services/downloads/Consistent.pdf
'unifirm size' on your screenshot is a scale option of vector display on screen. Try it & you will understand.
So does Hypermesh use SI units?
Hi,
HyperMesh does not follow any unit system. Its upto the user to follow a consistent unit system.

Hi ,
Can You tell me if I use N,mm,sec , tonne is it consistent. or N,mm,sec,kg
because When I use youngs modulus has 70000N/mm2
and density has 2.7e-9 tonne/mm3 or 2.7e-6 kg/mm3
So are these like consistent.
Hi Karthik,
If you have mass in tonnes use density with tonnes, this makes consistent
