Error 151

*** ERROR # 151 ***

 Error accessing the scratch files:

    error encountered in subroutine 'xdseex'

  Solver error no. = -710

             index =   2

    This may be caused by insufficient disk space or some other

    system resource related limitations.

    (e.g. The Operating System or NFS cannot handle file size > 2 GB.)

 This error was detected in subroutine splncz4.

 

What does this mean??

    Hi Prashant,

     

    One of the reason that caused the error could be because of low space in the disk to write the temporary scratch files.

     

     

    You can use TMPDIR to move scratch files to a different folder.

     

    Refer to OptiStruct run options for more information on how to use TMPDIR option.
