Hi !

I´m working in a crash simulation and I would like to know if it is possible to watch and measure the deformations after the impact in Hyperview. Because currently when I load the results in Hyperview it only shows the displacement but i need to know the deformations.

Is there any control card that help me to show the results (deformations)  that I want to know??

Another question is:

How can I obtain the displacement tensor??

Could you help me to solve this request??

Regards,

Sebastian.

    Hi,

    Add ANIM/SHEL/STRAIN or ANIM/BRIC/STRAIN.

Can you explain what do you mean by watch and measure deformations?

Deformations you can measure by checking the relative displacement of that part / elements.

    Hi George,

How can I check in HyperView the relative displacement of the part / elements?

Could you explain to me how I can do that?

    Regards,

    Sebastian.

You can make use of the Measures panel in HV to check the relative displacement between nodes.See attached pdf and screenshot.
