[SOLVED]Weird Result in Radioss

Hi,

i have just started using the hyperworks desktop application. I am trying to rebuild the example illustrated in the startet kit videos. Thus i created a part in catia and saved it as an iges-file. After that i performed the steps shown in the tutorial, but when i load the h3d-file the result looks nothing like it should. It is just a flat, 2d surface, that looks broken(?)

Hi Sebastian,

From the hyperview screenshot shared,

I might not be about to tell you exactly what might be the issue,

but from the image,

you can rerun the model with a small load, compared to the load applied now,

else the material properties needs to be rechecked,

the Modulus especially.

Also the 1D elements used, are they RBE2??
