i am using Radioss V44 for bumper crash simulation
also one more thing with regards to units
my unit system is
Length=mm
time=ms
mass=g
force=N
so what will be my units of velocity
will it be mm/ms or m/s

i am using Radioss V44 for bumper crash simulation
problem details are
1) velocity of the moving body is 4Km/hr
2) i have defined 2 interface
a)the barrier is master and all nodes of the components with the bumper assembly is slave
b)all elements of the components with the bumper assembly is master and barrier node is slave
3)interface TYPE7
while running the problem i have got this error

Velocity units is mm/ms for your case.
m/sec should be the same as they cancel out!
You would have to check whether the rigid body and the part id’s referred to in the Time history card are present in your model.

Hi all,
wish you all happy new year
in the current analysis when i give a velovity of 1.1m/s to the barrier and keeping the car bumper fixed after the completion of the run the barrier does not make a contact with the barrier
but
when i increase the velocity of the barrier there is the contact between the barrier and the bumper, why is this happening can any one suggest me how do i tackel this problem
