Dear All,

I have to see output in G-set, N-set, A-set, F-set... etc format like nastran for natural frequency analysis.

Will you please help me to get this output using optistruct?

Further i am not able to use ARG2(1) and ARG3(1) ?

What is value of ARG3(1)?

Thanks & Regards,

Rahul

Are you running analysis in Optistruct ?I too dont see information on ARg2 & ARG3 in documentation. But it should work with ARG1 PRINT & Opion set to yes.

If get any error please share.

Yes Rahul i am running with optistruct. I have solved with  ARG1 PRINT & Opion set to yes. I didn't get any error. But output format is not like nastran.

Below i have attached screen shots of Nastran & opti out file for GROUNDCHECK results.

I have to see GROUNDCHECK results same like Nastran using Optistruct... i mean in G- set, N-set, F-set etc....

    Hi Rahul,

No options are currently available in Optistruct to get the output in G- set, N-set, F-set for Groundcheck.

    Hi Rahul,

For another assembly when i run free-free modal analysis. It has given all PASS. But when i run the same model with SPCs, it gives FAIL.

Can u tell me how to overcome this issue and what is the reason of FAIL?

    Regards,

    Rahul

    Hi Rahul K,

I think the answer is in your question. You get a fail because you are constraining the body and not allowing to move as a rigid. The same is reported back to you :)/emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20' />

GROUNDCHECK: From help ' perform a grounding check analysis on the stiffness matrix to expose unintentional constraints by moving the model rigidly. '
