error # 4068 non linear analysis

I tried to set up a non linear static analysis (non linear material MAT1) but I get the error

*** ERROR # 4068 ***

TYPE = 'NLELAST' is only supported in NLGEOM, IMPDYN and EXPDYN subcases.

I don't understand the meaning of this error. Can anyone give me a hint ?
