ERROR 760

Hello,

I am running front impact analysis of a truck frame, and my simulation is not working and I am getting Error 760. The card image for the components are parts. Can someone tell me what could have gone wrong.

I have attached the hm file. Please let me know if something is wrong.

I believe you have some modelling error. please check same in model checker.

yes the problem is with gap which is clearly mentioned as warning in the out file. I see you have intersection & penetration in your model.please remove & run.

Thank you very much Rahul and Harshitpuri. Can you please tell me what is wrong in my interface. Is the type 7 wrong? If type 7 is right what are the mandatory fields in that card I should enter so that it should work?

I did the change and edited the interface. Now I am getting an error in Rigid bodies. Error 442 (Error in Rigid Body Definition). I am not able to understand what error that is. Can someone please help me.

Recheck the rigid bodies created.

Don't assign any material/property to the rigid body. And don't assign any card image to rigid body

There could be several reasons for this error.

Can you share the file to check?

It is not recommended to set a node of the mesh as the master node of a rigid body and in this case two rigid bodies are sharing the same master node in several cases.

And also clear the penetrations in the model.

Best way is to use Model checker.

As Rahul mentioned, please use the model checker where the errors and warnings in the model will be displayed. Some of these errors can be auto- corrected while others has to be fixed manually.

Hi,

Error id 760 is shown when there is a modelling error. In the model checker you can see that a component is missing material. Please recheck the same.
