Hello

I am making a topology optimization for a rotational disk that rotates under 4500 RPM. It should be just free in radial direction. I always see the same error shown below. How can I solve it. I read all previous comments about the same error. Most it said that it can be because of my constraints. Although I change my constraints it gives the same error. Can anyone help me for that.

Thank you in advance

In static load case 1
 the compliance is negative or large 1.77994e+020.
 Optimization/buckling analysis cannot be performed.
 due to possible rigid body mode.

    Hi @Mehmet Emin Arslan

    Looks like the model is not stable for the load applied.

    Can you reduce the load and check if this gives any good results (say 5 units)

    It works now. Thanks :)/emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20' />

    I have one more question. In my project I have to give RPM and also external pressure to my disk. But I cannot specify two different loads in one topology optimization. I looked for this to some tutorials but noone solved any parts with more than one load collector. Is there any way to do that?

    Hi,

    You can add two loads using LOADADD and use the same in load step details.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>LOADADD.PNG

    I couldn't find any information about LOADADD. I am using hyperworks student edition. How can I open LOADADD command?

    @Mehmet Emin Arslan

    When creating a load collector, select LOADADD as card image.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>loadAdd2.PNG

    Thank you very much for your answer. It could do it. By the way the card lmage is changed to 'LOAD' in the last version of hyperworks.

    Hi @gangstarr60

    There is no connectivity between two components. Try this file,
