Mating part???

What is the significance of 'Mating Part' option in the 'details' panel of 'properties' dialog box of 'motion' in 'loads' as we see in the expanded tree in user process brouser?

Sir,
I'm not getting it.
I use user process and and if in a case I want a punch to travel with ejectior pad having a blank sandwiched inbetween them, for a punch motion what should be the matting part? or do I need any?
