Does solidThinking use DirectX for the viewport? I ask because I may be able to see realtime stereo 3D using a monitor called IZ3D.

Also, there's a couple of ancient Roman statue models in the gallery. Were they modeled completely in solidThinking? If so, how can I learn the techniques used?

I am very impressed by what I have seen on the solidThinking site.

Don't know about DirectX ,but concerning the Gallery objects - these are not only to showcase the modelling but also the rendering.

The statues you are referring to, are most likely polygonals from a scan.

ST can also handle mesh data and has subD capabilities.
