Constraint problem

Hi,

I am a beginner,

Part 1 is rotating in Part 2.

and Both parts are solid meshed separately.

I'd like to put constraint on it. But I don't know how to.

Should I connect nodes (nodes on the contacting surface..?) in Part 1 and part 2 using rigid? (

Please  help me out.

THank you,

    hi

what's kind of analysis you intend to carry out?

if just static, you can share nodes, or use rbe2

if you want to see rotating motion, using revolution joint, or contact

    havve a good job

hello you can use tie contact or frictional contact depending on the functionality of the two components and analysis.

    Hi albert.zhang

As told in one of the posts, if you are running a static analysis you can use RBE2s.
