Hyperstudy to Fluxmotor
I made an Optimization study and i want to show the result on Fluxmotor Catalog , i thought it happens automatic but it´s not working ,on Fluxmotor there wasn´t any new Catalogs showing.
How is it possiple to deffine the output responses or How can i add the result as new Catalo on Fluxmotor?
I would approciate some help .

Before exporting the Flux Motor file to Hyperstudy, you need to click on "Save iterations" on Flux Motor. It then creates a new catalog with the all the iterations.
Hope that helps.

Hello,
Thank you both for the question and the answer.
I'd like to comment on it hoping it will be helpful for you and other users.
Actually, there are two possibilities (one can use one or another, or both).
1) If you want to look at the tested designs in the FluxMotor catalog (open it outside HyperStudy), you would need to set "Yes" on Save iterations when exporting the component. Then every tested designs will be available in the catalog for review.
2) Or you can use Media to get the previews of the tested designs directly in HyperStudy without saving the catalog (no need to set "Yes" on Save iterations).
In other words, Media is an alternative solution to the catalog, which is available directly in HyperStudy.
Please look at the video in the blog below. Between 6:00 to 8:13 there is a concrete example with FluxMotor which I think will be useful to understand how it works.

Now, back to the the initial question. If you want to use Media in HyperStudy (without saving the iterations in a FluxMotor catalog) you can do so. I think that it didn't happen on your side because you need to define the media source(s) first (if you pay attention on the second image you shared it is written "No media defined"). As shown in the video above you just need to go in Define Output Responses, Media and select the image (png) provided by FluxMotor. Then when you run a DOE or Optimization the images for each run will be available for review.

Hey Diana,
quick question regarding your second tip: Is it possible to extract the media files after a DOE run? I saved the iterations within the HyperStudy catalog in FluxMotor but unfortunately didn't search for the media files in the media tab before the DOE run. Is there a way to reimport them after the DOE run?

Hi Melih,
Yes, You can bring the images after your DOE has been solved. For this you would need to enable the images of interest in Output Responses - Media sources tab:
And then use the "Media" tab in Postprocessing.
Please note that that "Save Iterations in FluxMotor Catalog" and Media are two different capabilities. You can import the png in HyperStudy even though you didn't click Yes to Save Iterations when creating the HstConnector. Does that make sense?
Hope it helps.Diana
