MBD analysis error by flexible bodies

Hi,

 

As soon as I change in an MDB analysis the body properties from rigid to flexible, I got error messages.

 

I uploded my example models to:   https://ftin.india.altair.com:8443/filedrop/

 

test_zusammenbau_zyl_2_rbody.fem : all rigids, it's OK

 

test_zusammenbau_zyl_2_fbody_1.fem:   $HMNAME GROUP                  1'kolben' 'PFBODY', with error

 

test_zusammenbau_zyl_2_fbody_3.fem     $HMNAME GROUP                  4'pleuel' 'PFBODY'

                                                                     $HMNAME GROUP                  3'hebel' 'PFBODY',  with error

Hi,

 

The problem is with the tetra elements. It may not be possible to get corner stress for tria/tetra elements.

 

Change it to  center instead and you should be able to run the model.

 

My suggestion would be use QUAD/HEXA elements instead of tria/tetra elements and request corner stress.

An another thing is, that each MDB analysis must to run in a separate directory...
