TetraMeshing errors - noticed uneven edge while cutting surface - Hypermesh

Background:
A .igs file of a bone model is imported into Hypermesh. Different regions are 'cut with plane' and meshed individually. Tetramesh option is used to create a meshed volume by rejoining different regions. 

Problem:
Due to a small region of uneven cut, tetramesh option does not work. The even edge is shown in figure, affecting 3 different surfaces.  Suggest a method to avoid surface edge problems.

Hello,

If you are working with surfaces, you will need to clean up that sliver area with our geometry cleanup tools.

If you are using the surface mesh, you will need to remove those small elements and equivalence the unattached edges.
