Hello,

I would like to set an ACSRCE. In order to define it I need to enter an SLOAD.

I can't find the way to create the SLOAD. I would have guess to find it in the constraints as DAREA, but I can not find it.

Which is the correct procedure?

Thank you

    Hi,

it is a flux in HyperMesh.

“Tools à Create Cards” is sometimes helpful in such a case. See attached screenshot

Thank you so much for this trick. Very helpful.

I would take advantage and ask you some other things:

    - Is it possible to set SPOWER (NOPANEL)  - only for microphone location -   output within Hypermesh. At the moment default value is (PANEL) - mic location and panels grids. If I want to change it, I have to edit the input file. (V13.0)

    - SPOWER is an output option only available when i set a RADSND. How can I get sound power output when I run a coupled fluid/structure vibro-acoustic analysis. At the moment I am only able to require displacement (pressure) and the linked *_freq.mvw output.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,

Current by manualy editing you can set SPOWER (NOPANEL).

I hope you would get  results for sound intensity , sound pressure level (SPL) & sound power in .h3d format .

Please import the .h3d file to hypergraph and try plotting the graph.

    Hi Rahul,

What I mean is that I already got result for sound intensity , sound pressure level (SPL) & sound power in .h3d format, but only if I used RADSND.

But RADSND does not require any fluid mesh!? So I guess it is not a real coupled fluid structure analysis.

The only way I find to use a fluid mesh is by requiring displacement (Pressure) on some grid point, but in this case sound power output it is not available. Is it correct?

    Hi,

With RADSND, the pressure is calculated based on the velocity on the panel and the distance to the microphone etc. The fluid elements and the absorber do not contribute to the RADSND calculation.

    Hello,

very helpful topic, thank you. But i am struggling with GRID points definition for microphone locations.

I have created non-ordered set of nodes (geometry > create > nodes). This set is referenced RADSND set as MSET, then also a set of elements that is referenced in PANELG, and PANELG is referenced in RADSND in panel id field.

However when i try to run the analysis, it says

      *** ERROR # 2289 ***
Card 'RADSND # 1' references an empty SET.

It somehow doesnt recognizes the set of nodes (as microphone locations) and thinks it is empty...

Is there a specific procedure of creating these 'field grids' for RADSND?

.hm and .fem file attached for reference.

    Thank you

    Regards,

    A.
