How to exclude a part from an analysis

Hi to All,

 

I want to run an analysis on an assembly and I want to exclude a component from the analysis without deleting it from the assembly.

Is there any way to do this.

Globally speaking, is there any way to create multiple configurations, excluding specific parts, according the analysis I want to run.

    Hi

    On Export tab / Export Options

    You select Export: Custom / Select entities

    In Entity State browser you de-activate the comps you want to exclude from analysis

    it will not be exported

    If you are using Radioss or optistruct as solvers then

     

    Go to >Analysis>radioss> and select export options as displayed

     

    Now swith off the component you want to exclude from the analysis and proceed.
