Hello everyone!

please guys I need your help, Im stuck on a problem since a while. I want to model an airbag crush on HC, during the radios calcul it's always stopped because of 2 errors: mass error and limit energy reached.

MESSAGE ID :          205

** RUN KILLED : ENERGY ERROR LIMIT REACHED

MESSAGE ID :          207

** RUN KILLED : TOTAL MASS ERROR LIMIT REACHED

 CYCLE    TIME      TIME-STEP  ELEMENT          ERROR  I-ENERGY    K-ENERGY T  K-ENERGY R  EXT-WORK MAS.ERR
209000   68.56      0.2721E-10 INTER         27  99.9% -0.1879E+08  0.7371+142  0.1286E+09  0.1763E+06  0.1350+133

when I checked, i found that it's happend because of the interface type 11. so what should I do in this step to define this interface for airbag ans other parametres leyed to this type of calcul please help.

I joined the .out file to visualize my model

This error throws out if you are using mass scaling in your model , that is when you impose a time step.

Check mass increase due to mass scaling. May be you set a time step which is too high.

Due to the interface, the time step reduces badly ( 0.2721E-10 in this case) and because of this too much mass is added to maintain the minimum time step, which results in this error.

Suggest you to recheck the interface (Gapmin value and INACTI - 6 ) for any penetrations and for any element distortion.
