Radioss overlap contact

Hello

I'm currently working on Radioss 11 bulk mode with contact analysis.

basically, model is plug and hole assemble condition. but plug is like press fit and meshes are overlaped.

I heard that this kind of assemble can calcuate with specific contact condition.

please advice to me

Hi,

 

if you are using the CONTACT and PCONT Keywords you can try setting Parameter MORIENT (it's in CONATCT) to OVERLAP. That should allow for initially penetrating nodes.
