Wood Material

Hi,

 

I'm trying to create my project in inspire and test it. But my product is made of wood. And there's no wood material, anyone have idea to create a wood material?

    Hello Ben,

     

    I got a reply for your query from one of our Inspire specialists. This is what they say:

     

    One can create a new part by going to 'materials' icon in the tool bar and select 'My materials' tab. Under this tab you can add or delete material and give its properties. 

    For example you could use physical properties of different woods from here: http://www.csudh.edu/oliver/chemdata/woods.htm

     

    You may have to convert the values to the units in Inspire in order to get the results you desire.
