How to set interface in Hypermesh

Hi everyone,

 

I have a question in the subject of interface. Would you please tell me how I can set the type of adhesion between two face is friction with a coefficient µ différent of 0?

    Hi Lara,

    Please let us know which solver you are using?.

    There are several tutorials available in the Help menu showing contact definitions for RADIOSS and OptiStruct. You can also go through them.

    Hi George,

     

    Thank you for your advice. I'm using OptiStruct. I found that t i can use the fonction 'slide' for friction but not to set up the  coefficient of friction.

    Would you please let me know how I can do it?

    I found the answer : BCs -> Create -> iNTERFACE -> propertiy option : choose Static friction Coef and we can choose the coef MU1.
