How can I simulate a spectral density of energy caused by wind in Optistruct (Random analysis) ?
Hello everyone,
I would like to simulate the effect of wind on a mast in a random analysis (Optistruct). Can we impute a power spectral density of the speed [(m/s)²/Hz] ?
How can we determine the wind PSD ? I searched on the (EUROCODE1_NF EN 1991-1-4)
Thanks,
Guillaume

if i'm not wrong you can do it with velocity. Your FRF need to point to a velocity over frequency input (similar to tutorial 1305 in the Help, but using SPCD/SPC and choosing VELOCITY in the RLOAD2 card).
After having your FRF in place, you need to add the PSD, similarly to OS-T 1325.

Thanks for informations.
What I was thinking is to insert a power spectral density of speed with speed (RLOAD2) but I don't know how we can determine a DSP (wind velocity is known).
